For more than 20 years, Susan has provided clients in the technology, life sciences, and professional services industry with multi-state and local income tax compliance services Susan is known for her ability to address the state income tax complexities associated with tax provisions and uncertain tax positions. She provides consulting services on various multi-state income and franchise issues, including nexus studies, apportionment studies, and voluntary disclosure programs.  

Having worked in both public accounting and private industry, Susan provides a balanced perspective for her clients. Before joining HCVT, Susan was a senior manager at Deloitte, providing compliance services primarily to large publicly traded companies. She served as Deloitte's Tax Jurisdictional Lead, where she managed all state and tax controversy matters for the State of Montana. Susan began her career in private accounting, where she handled the state tax compliance and state audits. Susan received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Linfield College in Oregon.
