With over 20 years of experience, Jane specializes in audit and assurance services for nonprofit organizations, including private foundations, and the affordable housing industry, including entities subject to HUD, CalHFA, and HCD requirements. She works with organizations involved in affordable housing projects financed through tax credits, tax exempt bonds, and other programs, helping them navigate complex compliance and financial reporting matters.

Jane also has extensive experience in the real estate industry, supporting residential and commercial owners and operators and real estate developers. She is highly skilled in U.S. GAAP, including project costs, real estate transactions, consolidations, leases, revenue recognition, fair value measurements, asset acquisitions, and capitalization of development costs. She partners with clients to interpret evolving accounting standards, ensuring transparency, compliance, and meaningful reporting.

Beyond audits, Jane leads non-attest engagements such as financial statement preparation, compilations, GAAP consulting, and agreed-upon procedures. Her experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects, private foundation audits, and audits under HUD, HCD, and GAGAS/Yellow Book allows her to guide clients through specialized audit and compliance requirements.

Jane earned her bachelor’s degree in accountancy from California State University, Northridge, and spent three years in private industry before transitioning to public accounting, providing a practical perspective that benefits her clients. She is a Certified Public Accountant in California and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
