Overview

Vicken serves as the CEO and Managing Partner of HCVT, becoming the fifth leader in the firm's history and succeeding its founder, Phil Holthouse. In this role, Vicken is responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s strategic vision, with a focus on sustaining steady growth, strengthening and fostering its employee-focused culture, and cultivating the next generation of leaders in public accounting.

Before assuming the CEO role, Vicken led HCVT’s Media and Entertainment industry group. He is recognized as a strategic tax expert across the entertainment sector, advising clients such as motion picture studios, film financiers, and producers of both scripted and unscripted television, as well as distribution companies. Vicken also brings extensive experience in delivering sophisticated tax consulting and compliance services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, helping them address complex financial and business challenges.

Vicken began his career 40 years ago at Arthur Andersen where he was admitted into the partnership in 1998. In 2005, Vicken joined HCVT to help establish the firm’s Pasadena office.

Vicken is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration.
