Valentine has over 10 years of accounting experience, including nine years specializing in audits for the not-for-profit and affordable housing sectors. She works with organizations providing essential social services, including mental health, early childhood education, financial education and mentorship, and housing programs.
Valentine has extensive experience auditing federally funded projects and organizations, ensuring compliance with Uniform Guidance across multiple agencies, as well as state programs subject to stand-alone audit guides issued by the California Department of Education, the California Department of Social Services, and the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery. Her work supports strong financial controls while helping clients navigate complex regulatory requirements.
Valentine earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Northridge and is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
