Scott has over 20 years of experience in public accounting where he focuses on partnership taxation, including tax compliance, IT solutions, and investor reporting. He serves clients in the private equity and real estate industry sectors. Scott provides tax compliance and consulting services to some of the industry’s largest global private equity organizations, including fund sponsors, investors, management companies, general partner entities, and portfolio companies. Scott’s experience includes addressing tax issues associated with complex partnership tax matters, including tax allocations, distribution waterfall calculations, carried interest considerations, and investment structuring.
Prior to joining HCVT in 2006, Scott was a partner at KPMG, where he began his career in public accounting. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach.
