Sam has over 25 years of public accounting and private industry experience. He provides audit and assurance services for privately-held middle-market companies in the Southern California marketplace. Sam serves clients in the manufacturing, retail, consumer products, and distribution industry sectors, as well as clients in the consumer goods, agriculture, behavioral health, technology, software, and professional services industries. Sam also performs forensic accounting engagements and assists his clients in identifying and remediating weaknesses in internal controls over financial reporting. Sam’s experience also includes five years in private industry in the finance group of a public company where he was responsible for financial reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Sam received a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting from California State University, Northridge. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the states of Arizona, California and North Carolina. Active in his community, Sam is on the Advisory Council of DeMolay International, and through his involvement with Shriners International, he is an active supporter of the Shriners Hospital for Children in Los Angeles. Sam is on the Boards of Directors of the 101 Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), and the Child & Family Guidance Center, a not-for-profit organization that empowers children and families to achieve health and well-being through innovative mental health services and community programs. Sam is also a member of ProVisors and a frequent guest speaker at his alma mater, CSUN.
