Phillip has over 20 years of broad transactional and structuring experience, providing tax planning and tax compliance services to private equity investors in the real estate industry sectors. His principal areas of focus include both partnerships and the regulatory requirements and taxation of real estate investment trusts that hold residential and commercial real estate. He also has experience with commercial lenders, providing tax-based solutions for holders of distressed debt and foreclosed properties. Furthermore, Phillip consults with clients regarding the use of both partnerships and corporations and has substantial experience providing sell-side and buy-side M&A services to both financial and strategic investors.

Phillip is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California and a member of the State Bar of California. He began his career in public accounting at Deloitte.
