Mari has over 16 years of public accounting experience and is a member of the firm's Employee Benefit Plan Audit practice. Her focus is solely on employee benefit plan audits, and she has extensive knowledge in performing 401(k), 403(b), and defined benefit plans for her clients. When performing audits, Mari focuses on common IRS and DOL issues including timeliness of contributions and compensation definitions. She identifies plan risk areas and incorporates IRS and DOL expectations into HCVT's specialized audit programs and workpapers.
Mari graduated from the California State University, Northridge with a bachelor's degree in accountancy. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mari began her career at HCVT.
