Kayla has provided tax consulting and compliance services to clients across a broad spectrum of industry sectors for over 22 years. She is a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisition tax practice. Kayla has extensive experience serving publicly traded top-tier corporate, private equity, venture capital, and privately held middle market clients. Kayla provides buy-side and sell-side transaction tax advisory services for both public and private deals. Kayla has consulted on a variety of complex tax matters involving legal entity rationalization, debt restructuring, loss limitations, basis and E&P, and consolidated return issues. Before joining HCVT, Kayla served in the M&A tax practice at other Big 4 accounting firms. Kayla obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California. Kayla is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
