Jessica Saugstad leads HCVT's real estate audit practice, with an exclusive focus on serving the real estate industry. Her expertise spans both attest and non-attest services, catering to a diverse range of clients including developers, homebuilders, property managers, and operators across all real estate asset classes.
Jessica has played a key leadership role in the firm’s Quality Control initiatives for several years, delivering audit oversight and high-level technical accounting guidance across the practice. She brings deep experience in consolidations, investment structures, business combinations and asset acquisitions, impairment assessments, lease accounting, and the diverse accounting complexities unique to real estate entities.
Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts in economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and started her career at Deloitte. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
