Iris provides over 15 years of tax planning and compliance experience to her high-net-worth individuals and manufacturing, distribution, hospitality, and entertainment clients. As a member of the firm's Wealth Transfer Team, she assists in guiding the establishment of trusts, estate planning, and gift tax compliance and planning. Iris's consulting experience includes assisting with multi-million-dollar hotel renovation projects to maximize tax depreciation benefits and cost segregation matters.
Iris supports her clients with international tax compliance matters. While fluent in Spanish, she has experience working with attorneys in Mexico to help with compliance matters impacting U.S. filed tax returns and assisting with complex partnership transactions, including IRC 743 basis adjustments and special income and debt allocations.
Iris received her bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in Accountancy from California State University, Long Beach.
