David has over 25 years of experience in public accounting. David specializes in providing tax consulting and compliance services to partnerships, corporations, and S corporations, primarily to middle-market and closely held family businesses in a variety of industries. He has extensive individual income tax experience, working with the business owners to ensure that tax planning is done in an integrated manner, addressing the needs of both the business and the owners so that planning opportunities are fully optimized for all stakeholders. David also has significant experience serving real estate clients, including both public and private Real Estate Investment Trusts.
Prior to joining HCVT, David worked at Deloitte Tax LLP in the Real Estate/Pass-Through/Private Clients Group for 15 years. While at Deloitte, he frequently taught S corporation and partnership taxation training classes at both the local and national offices. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from La Salle University. David is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of California and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts.
