Overview

Chris brings over 20 years of experience serving clients in the private equity and real estate industry sectors. Chris provides tax planning and compliance services for a global private equity organization and their portfolio companies. He addresses complex partnership, corporate and international tax issues directed at preserving enterprise value. Chris provides comprehensive consulting services to address the complex tax considerations in the formation and liquidation of funds. His focus is to address the structuring for inbound and outbound transactions to optimize the effective tax rates for each class of investor. Prior to joining HCVT, Chris was the associate director of tax for a global private equity organization. He was responsible for the oversight of tax structuring related to new investments (or restructuring existing investments) in the U.S. and Europe. Chris has also served in a tax senior management role for another global private equity organization specializing in distressed debt secured by real estate.

Chris began his career at Deloitte. Chris received Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting and finance and Masters of Science in taxation and accounting from the University of Central Florida. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.
