Alison has over 25 years of public accounting experience and has been with the firm for over 17 years. She provides tax planning and compliance services to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Alison has extensive knowledge addressing complex partnership taxation issues and has specialization in entities structured as S corporations and limited liabilities companies. She assists her partnership clients with the tax consequences associated with distributions, liquidations and terminations, the sale or exchange of partnership interests, and Section 754 adjustment to basis. Alison has experience addressing the tax issues associated with Section 1031 like-kind exchanges. Her industry experience includes real estate, manufacturing, and retail industries.

Alison received a Master of Business Taxation and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting, both from the University of Southern California. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California. Alison began her career at a local firm in West Los Angeles and continued her public accounting experience with Deloitte Tax before joining HCVT.
