Alen brings nearly ten years of public accounting experience providing clients with tax consulting and compliance services primarily in the real estate and private equity industry sectors. Alen specializes in partnership taxation and provides his expertise in areas such as partnership step-up calculations, complex partnership allocations, like-kind exchanges, and tax basis adjustments. He also works closely with high-net-worth individual clients to navigate ongoing tax issues. Alen advises clients on opportunity zone and solar energy investments.
Prior to joining HCVT, Alen was a private banker at JPMorgan Chase. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance as well as his master’s degree in accounting from California State University, Northridge, Alen is a Certified Public Accountant in California and is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
