Overview

Shay has more than a decade of  public accounting experience. He provides technical expertise dealing with multi-tiered partnership organizational structures focused on federal and state tax compliance and planning as well as domestic reporting of foreign investments for new and existing structures.

Shay assists clients with the preparation and review of complex investor reporting for both domestic and international investors, including navigating any withholding requirements. He also has experience resolving federal and state notices and audits and navigating new statutory reporting requirements, including partnership schedule K-3.

He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting, as well as his master’s in accountancy, with an emphasis in taxation, from San Diego State University. Shay is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the California Society of CPAs.
