Sid Chitnis Joins HCVT as Managing Director & Partner in Advisory Services Practice

LOS ANGELES, Tuesday, October 3 – Sid Chitnis has joined HCVT as a Managing Director and Partner in the firm’s Advisory Services practice, specializing in M&A Advisory. Sid brings over 17 years of experience advising private equity sponsors and both privately and publicly held companies on matters pertaining to mergers and acquisitions.

Sid will serve a pivotal role on the M&A Advisory team guiding clients through the intricacies of sell-side and buy-side transactions to achieve optimal outcomes. Sid’s expertise, partnered with the team’s collective experience performing valuations, modeling, financial due diligence, tax, and accounting, will provide value at each step of the process—pre- and post-deal.

Sid has experience working across a wide range of industries, including consumer, food and beverage, manufacturing, retail and distribution, business services, and industrial. He also specializes in advising companies on brand intellectual property matters related to transactions and valuation.

Prior to joining HCVT, Sid served as a director at Houlihan Lokey, a publicly traded global investment bank where he was a member of the Financial and Valuation Advisory practice which provides valuations and transactions advice to its clients. Earlier in his career, Sid held senior roles in corporate finance and advisory with Deloitte and Duff & Phelps, currently known as Kroll. Sid earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute. He is also a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
