Peter began his career in public accounting at HCVT and serves clients in the private equity and entertainment industry sectors. He specializes in providing strategic tax consulting services to partnerships, closely-held private businesses, high net worth individuals, and their related entities. Peter is highly skilled at addressing complex private equity taxation issues including investment analysis, partnership allocations, waterfall calculations, and carried interest, among other related issues. He serves private equity fund entities and management companies. Peter’s entertainment clients include motion picture production, film finance, scripted and unscripted TV production, distribution companies, and foreign investors in U.S. companies. Peter assists his entertainment clients with complex issues such as film basis amortization, deferred revenue, state filing requirements, and participation tax treatment.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.
