Josh brings 20 years of public accounting experience to his client engagements. He provides audit and assurance services to not-for-profit and for-profit organizations, including affordable housing organizations; developers; residential, multifamily, and commercial properties; and organizations that provide social services, including early childhood education.
In addition to providing audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures, Josh has significant expertise with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) engagements, including Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) cost certifications. He advises clients on technical accounting, compliance, and reporting matters, working extensively with organizations funded by governmental loans and grants. His experience includes audits performed under Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) standards, Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), and Uniform Guidance, as well as assisting clients with complex ownership distribution calculations.
Josh earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. As a Certified Public Accountant in California, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
