Overview

Aracely (Arcy) Olguin has over 25 years of experience serving non-profit organizations and real estate clients in the affordable housing sector. Growing up in public housing stirred a passion in Arcy to pay it forward and help these organizations fulfill their missions. She does that, in part, by helping her clients understand the complexities of the industry.

She has extensive knowledge in planning and performing audits of non-profit developers and affordable housing projects with low-income tax credits, including projects financed by HCD/CALHFA, LAHD, with tax-exempt bonds, and specializes in audits of cost certifications, eligible basis analysis, and other financial reporting. She has experience in audits of HUD federal award programs and organizations that receive federal funding and must comply with Government Auditing Standards and the requirements of the Uniform Guidance.

Arcy received her bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from California State University, Northridge. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Active in her community, Arcy is on the board of directors of the California High School Entertainment Unit Boosters, as well as a member of both the DEI and Community Services Committees at HCVT.
