Overview

Vicken is the CEO and Managing Partner of HCVT. He’s the fifth person to lead the firm and succeeds founder Philip Holthouse in the role. Vicken is responsible for developing and setting firm strategy and will focus on continuing the firm’s steady growth, nurturing its employee-centric culture, and identifying and developing the next generation of public accounting leaders.

Prior to leading HCVT, Vicken headed the firm’s Media and Entertainment industry group. He is an established leading strategic tax expert on the full spectrum of the entertainment industry, including motion picture production companies, film finance companies, scripted and unscripted TV production companies and distribution companies. Vicken also addresses the complex tax needs of foreign investors in US companies. In addition, he has deep experience providing tax consulting and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and families to help them navigate their most complicated business issues. 

Vicken began his career 35 years ago at Arthur Andersen where he was admitted into the partnership in 1998. In 2005, Vicken joined HCVT to help establish the firm’s Pasadena office.

Vicken is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration.
