Overview

Greg is a highly experienced tax advisor bringing over 40 years of public accounting and private industry experience to his client engagements. Greg joined HCVT in 2019 and focuses on providing tax consulting services to closely-held businesses, primarily in the technology and life sciences industry sectors. He addresses complex tax issues in these industry sectors, including research and development, intellectual property, and entity structuring, among others. He serves clients in all phases of the business cycle, from start-up entities to a mature businesses seeking a liquidity event. Greg has extensive experience assisting his clients with Internal Revenue Service and California Franchise Tax Board audits. His private industry experience is diverse, and this combined experience with public accounting allows Greg to provide a balanced technical and practical perspective to his clients.

Greg began his career in public accounting at PwC. He is a graduate of Claremont Men’s College (N/K/A Claremont McKenna College) and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and literature. Greg also holds a JD from UCLA Law School and is a member of the State Bar of California.
