Barbara is a data specialist and brings significant analytics, computer-assisted audit techniques (CAAT), IT general controls testing, key report testing, and data visualization experience to the firm. She has extensive knowledge of the ETL (extract, transform, load) process and the data elements needed from a variety of financial platforms. She has experience in user acceptance testing, process design, associate readiness, and project management, including Agile and Six Sigma.
Barbara’s background includes in-depth experience in finance, accounting, and operations. While at Bank of America, Barbara was responsible for the end to end project management for a variety of complex processes and regulatory initiatives including a line of business efficiencies, modeling for future technology spend, key performance indicators, and call center implementation, among others. Her skills include programming across a variety of languages including Python, SQL (Management Studio, Integration Services, Reporting Services) and SAS.
Barbara is a graduate of California State University, Northridge and holds a master’s business administration and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance. Active in her community, she serves as a leader in several organizations including a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Conejo Valley, and the recognition chair of the Girl Scouts of Thousand Oaks.
