With over fifteen years of experience in the real estate industry, Nicholas spends the majority of his time working with low-income housing tax credit clients performing audits, cost certifications, compiling projections, eligible basis letters, consulting, and related agreed upon procedures. Prior to joining HCVT, Nicholas worked for five years in the real estate industry with a developer of low-income housing and an investor in commercial real estate projects. Nicholas' involvement in performing audit and review services for the real estate industry includes experience with apartments and commercial office buildings.
Nicholas’ experience encompasses a wide range of financial reporting services, including HUD reports, real estate yellow book reports, audits, reviews, and compilations. He has focused the majority of his time in the real estate industry including low-income housing, HUD multifamily housing, multifamily housing, and commercial. He also has industry knowledge in service, distribution, software, and 401(k) plans.
Nicholas graduated with honors from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a double emphasis in real estate and finance. Nicholas is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
