Morris has over 25 years of experience providing audit and accounting services to private companies and nonprofit organizations. Morris has significant experience in the affordable housing industry including auditing multi-family low-income housing tax credit projects, HUD projects and projects financed with tax-exempt bonds. Morris has performed numerous cost certifications, eligible basis analysis, due diligence engagements, agreed-upon procedure engagements and other financial reporting required for tax credit properties. Morris is involved with industry organizations that support the affordable housing industry including the Southern California Association of Non-Profit Housing (SCANPH) and the Affordable Housing Management Association – Pacific Southwest (AHMA-PSW). Morris also serves many nonprofit organizations including private foundations, public charities, and other exempt organizations. In addition to his experience providing audit services to clients in the affordable housing industry sector, Morris serves for-profit real estate organizations including developers, owners, operators and property managers. He has experience with all real estate classes including commercial, industrial and residential properties.

Morris began his career at a national firm that was acquired by Deloitte. He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting.
