Michael has over 16 years of experience in public accounting providing audit services to private companies. Michael’s industry experience is broad and includes manufacturing, retail and distribution, professional services organizations, as well as nonprofit organizations. He has significant experience providing audit and assurance services to middle-market companies in the food and beverage as well as the transportation and logistics industry sectors. In addition to audits, reviews and compilations for private companies, Michael also delivers Service Organization Control (SOC) reports and assists with Mergers and Acquisition transactions. Prior to beginning his career in public accounting, Michael was in private industry and served as a senior accountant. This industry experience, coupled with his experience in public accounting, allows Michael to provide a balanced perspective to his clients as he understands many of the issues encountered in their business.

Michael began his career in public accounting at KPMG LLP. He is a graduate of Pepperdine University. Michael is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and serves on its Accounting Education Committee. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and ProVisors. Michael is a frequent guest speaker at the accounting program at Cal State Long Beach. Michael serves on the audit committee of the Assistance League of Long Beach.
