Jason focuses on how business decisions impact business owners and identifies planning opportunities up front to achieve tax savings, including tax credits/incentive programs, choice of entity, and accounting methods. Jason also has deep experience providing tax planning and compliance services to high net worth individuals. He assists his clients with complex issues such as the small business stock exclusion, among others. He also works with his clients’ advisors to effectively implement wealth transfer plans. His high net worth clients also include professional athletes. He understands the unique and complex tax considerations of the professional athlete including state nexus/residency, duty day allocation, and multi-state filing requirements. Throughout Jason’s career in public accounting, he has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board, and other government agencies.

Jason holds a master’s degree in business taxation from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Arizona. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
