Alex brings over 20 years of experience providing tax compliance and domestic corporate consulting services to public and privately-held companies. A client-centric focused partner, Alex advises her clients about changes in legislation or filing requirements and the impact on the organization’s tax position. Her clients have ranged from middle-market organizations to large, complex global public and private organizations. Alex’s experience is diverse and includes manufacturing, retail, distribution, hospitality and technology industry sectors. Alex is highly skilled at navigating the complex computations associated with tax accruals and the tax provision (ASC 740). She has prepared the tax provision as a fully outsourced engagement, including the drafting of required disclosures and the documentation for FIN 48 (Uncertain Tax Positions). She assists companies in determining the reporting implications of mergers and acquisitions as well as foreign operations. In addition to providing tax provision services, Alex advises her clients in many complex tax areas such as state tax minimization and federal tax controversy.

Alex began her career at Moss Adams and then joined Arthur Andersen. Prior to joining HCVT, Alex served as a tax partner at EY. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Northridge and a master’s degree in business taxation from the University of Southern California.
