Jeff has over fifteen years of public accounting experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to a wide spectrum of clients. Prior to joining HCVT in 2007, Jeff spent thirteen years in KPMG’s federal tax practice where he focused on corporate taxation.
Jeff’s experience has ranged from consulting Fortune 500 companies to small business corporations and S corporations. Jeff has focused on middle-market companies, including restaurants, high tech, manufacturing and homebuilder corporations, while maintaining a client base in the real estate partnership arena. Jeff also has extensive experience with FAS109, accounting for income taxes, as well as the related SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. He also served as the FAS109 trainer for KPMG’s Southwest region.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an accounting concentration from California State University, Fullerton and a master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California and Idaho and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
