Norm provides tax and consulting services to high-net-worth-individuals, closely held businesses, professional service companies, post-production companies, real estate professionals, as well as professionals in the entertainment industry. He has also successfully represented his clients in front of the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, and other government agencies.
Norm joined HCVT in January 1998 as a senior tax manager. Prior to joining HCVT, Norm was a senior tax manager for a large local accounting firm located in West Los Angeles for seven years.
Norm received his undergraduate degree from California State University of Northridge in 1987 and a master's in taxation from Golden Gate University in 1994. In addition, Norm is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPA's. He's a member of the planning committee for the California CPA Education Foundation, and has spoken at the L.A. Times Investment Conference, and to other various groups on tax law changes and updates.
