At HCVT, we recognize that accounting majors have several career paths presented to them upon graduation. We want to help you explore these opportunities by introducing you to our rewarding industry of public accounting through our HCVT internship program.
As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on public accounting experience by working with a dedicated group of top professionals who will share their wealth of knowledge and experience with you to help you learn and grow professionally and personally.
Our comprehensive internship program encompasses eight weeks, including one week of formal orientation and technical training at the start of your internship. Thereafter, your staff buddy and manager mentor will take you under their wings and assign you real client work and get you acclimated to the firm.
Throughout the summer, we typically hold a variety of social events, so interns, buddies and mentors have a chance to get to know one another, establish goals and just have fun. In addition, our internship group will have the opportunity to work on a special team project, which they get to present to a select group of partners and managers from the firm.
Ideal candidates for our internship program are accounting majors in their junior year with a preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher.
