Southern California CPA Firm Hires M&A Tax Senior Manager

The Partners of Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP (HCVT) are pleased to announce that Andy Torosyan has joined the Pasadena office. Andy will help expand the firm's services in the Mergers & Acquisition and corporate arena.

Prior to joining HCVT, Andy was with the international CPA firm of Deloitte & Touche, LLP (Deloitte) for over 9 years. Andy was a member of the M&A group based in Los Angeles, where he served strategic and private equity clients in merger, acquisition and disposition consulting, planning and compliance. Andy started his career in the general tax services group serving domestic and multinational clients. Andy also worked in Deloitte's national tax practice in Washington D.C. for three years, where he performed research, wrote technical opinions and consulted with Deloitte personnel and clients throughout the country.

Andy's responsibilities include tax due diligence on transactions, entity structuring, reviewing tax returns and tax provisions, and planning for domestic and international tax matters. Industry experience includes manufacturing, real estate and financial institutions.

Andy is a member of the AICPA and has co-instructed at the Tax Executive's Institute. Andy was also the co-author of Loss Disallowance After Rite Aid: Deconstructing "-20", 81 TAXES - The Tax Magazine, 377 (March 2003).
